I am Niel Cope, I run an Human Resources Consultancy called "People Matters (HRC) Ltd" in Ramsbottom, Bury.
People Matters is an HR consultancy with a personal and professional touch, which aims to be part of your business.
I provide fully outsourced People Management support for SMEs in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire, but I also different levels of support. This ranges from a 24/7 phone support and advice service, specialist projects, such as Management Development, TUPE, redundancy and employee relations to the provision of staff handbooks, induction packs, job descriptions, contracts, health and safety policies and risk assessments to Strategic HR business support.
I have always worked very closely with my clients to build a positive rapport and an understanding of what they do, how I can add value and meet your needs. I therefore aim to become a part of your business for a fraction of the cost of having your own People Management Specialists. My experience is based on being an operational manager in public, private and third sector organizations before specialising in a companies greatest asset (or biggest issue!) its people. In sort I understand where managers and Business owners are coming from, I try to be pragmatic but also to protect you from the minefield of employment law.
Your role is to manage a profitable business, provide high quality products and excellent customer service. You need to be compliant with the relevant employment and H&S legislation and best practice which is a minefield and can be very high risk and costly if you get it wrong, but increases the performance of your business if you get it right.
You probably can't spend the time you need to do it and you probably haven’t got the knowledge and experience to keep up with all the changes, build on the basics and develop and retain your team members into that winning team.
Unlike other companies, which can offer a similar service, I want to be as involved as much as you want me to be. When you call, you speak to me, not a call centre. I have years of experience of Human Resources, Change Management, Health and Safety, Organisational and Learning & Development, across all sectors.

I can give you guidance, which may involve talking you through a problem or a process, help you to clarify your thoughts, present you with your options and provide all the off site support you need, not something off a shelf.
