I offer PC support for home users & small businesses. Have been established over 8 years and most of my work comes via word of mouth.

Unlike some similar companies I deal with both domestic customers and businesses alike. Also, i have always believed that your pc/laptop needs to work at the place you need it to work (in your home, office, etc) and not just in someones workshop, therefore i will always come and visit you. I also appreciate people have busy lives, so can make that visit any time to suit you.. whether it be daytimes, evening, weekends or even bank holidays (and theres no extra charge for doing so)

Wireless security is something i am passionate about as the majority of people are oblivious to the potential dangers and assume their wireless is "secure". The video below is a good demonstration of this
A big part of my job these days involves trying to keep people safe when online (ensuring your wireless network is secure re the video above being an example of such). As an approved reseller of AVG software (www.avg.co.uk) the product i consider to offer the best all round Internet protection, AVG is one of the tools i use to help do this, aswell as offer other useful practical advice & tips.
Anyone looking to either purchase, renew or upgrade their existing security software i would be interested in talking to or anyone whos has concerns about their pc (and wireless) security in general.

I recommend such networking groups (and networking in general) to anyone looking to build business relationships (and therefore business) . Having been a member of similar organisations before i know such work although it should be viewed as a long term investment, not everyone will see the benefits immediately as i have. Building trust and business from such does take time but the long term benefits far outweigh the cost and a lot of my business still comes from networking ive done in the past.
From my point of view, although the Scunthorpe group its still in its infancy and there have only been 4 or 5 meetings so far, attending such has already covered my membership and i havent even paid for such yet!!. I also find the meetings very enjoyable to attend.
