| March 2005 - FPB and BoB Join forces
The Forum of Private Businesses and Business over Breakfast Clubs have agreed a strategic partnership to offer businesses not only the Representation and Protection they need but also B-2-B networking facilities for members to increase their business opportunities through word-of-mouth referral.
Nick Goulding the FPB Chairman said “ We are always keen to address the needs of our 26,000 members and one of the facilities our members wanted was to attend professional operated B-2-B networking events. Rather than trying to set these clubs up ourselves, we decided it would be far better to work with an existing and expanding organisation who were already successful and experienced in networking”.
Geoff Cox Business over Breakfast Clubs Managing Director said “There is a massive demand for B-2-B networking clubs and one that was outstripping our capacity. Joining forces with the FPB will allow us to roll out the clubs throughout this country and ultimately, into Canada and Europe. We have found that all businesses have one thing in common – they all want additional quality business.
Nick added “Geoff’s previous experience will help us increase membership of the FPB and at the same time increase the number of BoB clubs available to any business. We are selecting a team of professional, experienced business advisors who will work within the business community nationwide, offering both the benefits of membership to the FPB and running BoB clubs which will be available to both FPB members and non members.
