Having attended universities in Bristol and London, I initially lived and worked in London, specialising in White Collar Crime and General Defence work for a number of years. However, having grown up in Kent and being a country girl at heart, I moved to Rye in 2002 and switched disciplines to Residential Conveyancing to enable me to fully integrate in to the locality and enjoy country life to the full. I have since worked for both large and small firms both in in Kent and Sussex and joined Heringtons in May 2013, initially at our Eastbourne office. I then moved to our Battle office in 2014 and became an Associate Partner in 2016.
I pride myself in offering a high level of client care in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, providing clear, practical and thorough advice in a friendly yet professional and prompt manner to facilitate as smooth transaction as possible for my clients and benefit from frequent repeat business and referrals from both existing clients and my business contacts.
Prior to joining Heringtons I was successful in achieving an individual listing in the Legal 500 Directory as being a "pro active and hands on solicitor who says she will get the job done and does".
I have a keen interest in all things equestrian and when family commitments permit, attend equestrian events covering the South of England.
I have been highly recommended by my peers and clients alike and my clients say of me:
"Natalie provides a superior, excellent service" (Mr Smart, September 2015)
"Natalie always responded promptly to emails, even those sent out of office hours (such as on a Sunday evening)! This was more than I expected, I would email her when it was convenient for me but only expected a response during office hours. Natalie was a great support throughout the whole process." (S Atkinson, May 2015)
"Natalie was very approachable and in command of the situation. I really appreciated being able to speak to her directly and she was always helpful polite and informative" (S Morgan, January 2015)
"Dealing with Natalie Mortimer was an absolute pleasure. She has a lovely manner and very efficient work ethic" (K Cooper and P Gask, Willingdon, October 2014)
