Business Description

I am happy to have a discussion on any nutrition/health related issue to see if I can help. Please check out my testimonials page for feedback from some of my clients at

Outside of general discussions, the 7 specific areas that I help people in are:

1). General Health / Diet / Energy Improvement

  • Weight may not be an issue, but perhaps you struggle with poor sleep quality or a lack of energy. Maybe you have a poor diet that you need to improve on and/or food addictions that you feel you need to overcome in order to be healthier in the short, medium and long term, and to reduce the risk of illness as you age.

2). Weightloss Without Dieting

  • No fad unsustainable dieting. No pills, potions, shakes, meal replacements, counting points etc... I educate my clients and hold them accountable for change. I use methods that deal with the psychological side of losing weight as much as the physical side. I advocate the use of real food and knowledge in losing weight safely and sustainably.

3). Type 2 Diabetes Management and Reversal

  • For those that are at risk of Type 2 Diabetes, are pre-diabetic or perhaps a diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic, my programme can - at the very least - help you to manage your condition effectively. In many cases, remission is a strong possibility too.

4). Free Sugar Awareness Workshops For KeyStage 2 Children

5). 'Healthy Diet, Healthy You' Workshops For KeyStage 2 Children

  • Children benefit from nutritional education from a young age, as this often sets in motion improved dietary habits as they progress in to their teens and in to adulthood. Sadly, for many children, their parents and peers are often poorly educated in nutrition. This makes early intervention with easy-to-assimilate, but effective, workshops absolutely essential for the short, medium and longterm wellbeing of the children.

6). 'Change Your Life In 60 Minutes' Health and Wellness Workshops For Junior and Senior School Teachers

  • Teachers often work long hours and are under considerable pressure and stress, and often their diet suffers as a result which then can result in poor sleep quality, poor energy levels and general poor health - and the resulting poor health makes dealing with stress more difficult, which then can lead to more sickness absence. In just 1 hour, I can educate groups of up to 30 teachers at a time in simple ways to improve their diet, their energy level and their health.

7). 'Change Your Life In 60 Minutes' Health and Wellness Workshops For Employees

  • Healthy employees are often happy employees that feel valued - and in turn are frequently more productive for, and loyal to, your business. In groups of up to 30 at a time, I can educate your staff in simple ways to improve their health and energy levels - all in just 60 minutes!

My Recommendations

Having first met Neil D’Silva a few months ago, I was very intrigued by the work that he did and found him to be a very interesting and engaging person to speak with. I knew it was only a matter of time before I would invite him in to speak about the good work he does in terms advising people about how to eat and live healthily. Neil has a particular interest and focus on preventing, or living well with Type 2 Diabetes and is clearly on a personal mission to share his wisdom with as many people as he can meet.

I am the owner of a Home Care company called Right at Home Medway, and one of the biggest challenges facing many of our Clients is Dementia. There is plenty of ongoing research that suggests clear links between Type 2 Diabetes and Dementia, therefore it was clear there would be synergies between the work that Neil and I do. Neil spoke of this and also gave clear and practical advise about what we can influence in our own lives to reduce the risk of developing such diseases, or reduce the impact they have. Neil’s style of communication is clear, concise and he is able to present many facts and serious topics in an interesting manner. This was of particular interest to me as our audience was very varied and included a wide age-range. There were children of Primary and Secondary school age, middle aged adults all the way up to people in their late eighties. All were kept interested, the message was digestible by all, and I certainly get the sense that most (if not all), took away at least one small change in their lives they would be able to make right away.

It was interesting to see people approaching Neil after the talk requesting further information as his message was clearly well received. I look forward to working with Neil again in future and will certainly be recommending him to anybody that I know who wants nutritional advice.
