Business Description

My commercial background is sales and marketing, initially on the client side but largely on the agency side. I run a business called Fifty3, combining brand marketing, copywriting and sales promotion with music interests. I write for the leading US music website Consequence of Sound and for breakthrough artiste site, BestNewBands. I'm also a judge for Glastonbury Festival's annual Emerging Talent Contest.

I am experienced in all aspects of marketing services including advertising, branding, design & promotion and work through the line with leading brands and innovators. My USP is to offer a clear vision for the busy marketer supported by sound advice, creative ideas and practical project management. I believe in rolling up sleeves and doing fewer things better!

My specialisms are creative & copy writing, promotional ideas, brand names and propositions, and music journalism. I am keen to build links with local companies via the BoB network and work with businesses to fine tune how they present themselves by choosing the right sales promotion mechanics. I can also offer a full range of design and conceptual services through to finished artwork.

My Recommendations

I had the pleasure to meet Tony through our networking group, Business over Breakfast in Kingston. Tony has helped me and other club members many times with marketing and promotions advice. Getting your message across to your market, appealing promotions, branding and copywriting are just a few of the things that Tony specialises in and I thoroughly recommend him.

Tony wrote some brilliant copy for a promotional leaflet we used recently. The leaflet did the job perfectly, thanks to Tony!
