Tonbridge House Care Home took in its first resident on the 29th May 2018. From the outset, we wanted to be a home that would see our residents through any changes in health status, so starting with residential care, we also cater for dementia, nursing and even end-of-life care. We have qualified nurses on duty, and in addition our Home Manager and her Deputy are also both very experienced nurses too. Because of this depth of clinical experience, we frequently get referrals from the surrounding hospitals.
In our local area, we are one of only two care homes offering nursing capability, so it's no surprise that most of our residents have come from Tonbridge/Hildenborough/Hadlow/Southborough/Penshurst. Our CQC rating is all good.
Tonbridge House is part of the Porthaven Group of care homes, so their website will show that we are also represented in other counties.
