Introduction to Cybercy.

Cybercy, founded by Sunny Vara in 2017, is a specialist consultancy which delivers high quality data protection and cyber security services to the public and private sectors. Our consultancy services enables our clients to accelerate their business success through simplified compliance frameworks and provides effective risk management, to evade or eliminate malicious or accidental cyber security risks with the overall objective to protect client and employee data.

We provide a comprehensive range of professional services ranging from GDPR training & implementation, cyber security awareness training for senior management and staff, development of data governance structures, development of information risk management processes, technical vulnerability assessments/penetration tests, cyber risk exposure assessments, cyber resilience assessment and security audits.

Our team of highly skilled consultants have significant experience in successfully running reviews, implementing projects, leading service delivery programmes and executing transformation programmes across all sectors. This includes conducting reviews and implementation of GDPR, Cyber Essentials & Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001.

Our team includes a Chief Information Security Officer, various certified Data Protection Officers, GDPR Practitioners, Trainers, Project & Programme Managers, Business Analysts and Information Security Managers with the following accreditations: Cyber Essentials, IASME, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO27701 & Digitally Aware. For certification purposes, we also have a range of partners i.e. a Cyber Essentials Certification Body, a CREST accredited Penetration Testing company and various ISO27001 certification bodies.

Why we are different

We take a pragmatic approach to data protection and cyber security; we understand data related legislation, we understand cyber related threats and the associated risks but we don’t use scare tactics to frighten you into spending money.

Cybercy understands that our customers don’t have an endless budget to spend on IT Security which is why we can always help maximise the investment already made in compliance controls and security systems, removing the need to spend money unnecessarily.
