Brabners are an independent, regional law firm established over 200 years ago with offices in Preston, Manchester and Liverpool. We act for commercial clients of all sizes throughout England and Wales from owner managed business and SMEs to large PLCs.
We assist clients in all areas of law including company acquisitions and sales, succession planning, shareholders agreements, employment contracts, employment tribunal claims, commercial agreements, terms and conditions of sale, commercial dispute, debt recovery and all aspects of real estate including buying or selling commercial property or landlord and tenant issues.
We have a large private client offering in each or our three offices which assist our business owner clients and their families, high net worth individuals and people looking to properly plan for later life. Our services for individuals include wills and probate, estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, divorce and pre or post nuptial agreements.
Nikki is a Partner in our Corporate team and assists clients on a broad range of transactions (both on a solvent or insolvent basis).
She acts for a range of corporate clients from SMEs to large companies advising and assisting them on various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, employee ownership trusts, shareholder protection, succession planning and company restructuring. Nikki also assists investors and shareholders to properly protect their investment in companies by preparing and advising upon the appropriate agreements that need to be in place.
Nikki has a strong background in contentious and non-contentious insolvency work advising financial institutions, company directors and shareholders as well as acting for insolvency practitioners (both pre and post-appointment) across the North West.
She is classed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 and won the ‘Young Lawyer of the Year’ award at the Insider Young Professionals Awards in 2018.
