Employee Engagement

Employee Engagement is a concept that is viewed as managing the individual employee’s optional effort.   That is, when they have choices, they will act in a way that furthers their organisation's interests. An engaged employee is a person who is fully involved in, and enthusiastic about, their work.

Examples of what we can do for you include:

  • Conducting bespoke Companywide employee satisfaction surveys
  • Focused activities within specific areas of the business

Employee Handbooks

It is accepted best practice to have an employee handbook specifically written for your organisation.   Some of the reasons for this are that it: -

  1. Introduces employees to the culture, mission, and values of your organisation
  2. Communicates to employees what is expected of them
  3. Educates employees of what they can expect from the Company’s management team
  4. Helps ensure that key Company policies and procedures are clearly and consistently communicated
  5. Confirms the employee benefits that you offer
  6. Ensures compliance with UK Employment Law
  7. Helps in the defence against employee claims
  8. Guides employees to know where to turn for help

Examples of what we can do for you include:

  • In the development of the handbook, we will work with your organisation to ensure that it meets your specific needs

Management Training

Due to the complexities of workplace issues, we provide the tools to enable managers to work with confidence. With greater confidence comes a more cohesive working environment.

Examples of what we can do for you include:

  • Dealing with discipline, grievance and capability
  • Equal opportunities
  • Performance management
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Redundancy
  • Sickness absence

Policies and Procedures (HR)

Effective Human Resources policies and procedures assist an organisation in establishing and maintaining consistent practices in the workplace. An inconsistent approach runs the risk of making employees dissatisfied and may lead to conflicts.

Examples of what we can do for you include:

  • Working closely with your organisation to provide bespoke policies and procedures which will ensure that your organisation achieves compliance
  • Review your existing Company policies and procedures to ensure that they are up to date

Competent Health and Safety Advice

If you're an employer, you must understand your health and safety duties. The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has made it clear that it will not accept ignorance of the law as an excuse for non-compliance.

Our consultants will interpret relevant health and safety legislation and guidance on your behalf. We will also help you to develop practical risk control measures. These will ensure the safety of your staff and tick the appropriate legal boxes.

Our team has the appropriate qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience to offer competent advice on health and safety compliance issues.

Examples of what we can do for you include:

  • Developing health and safety management systems, including policies, procedures, standard documentation
