Founded by Caroline Chapman in 2020, Grounded Human Resources Limited is a friendly and approachable HR Consultancy, based in York, designed to support and empower business owners to create great people relationships. We believe that Human Resources (HR) should be straightforward and down to earth, we also believe that people should be treated with respect and compassion.
We know that when you are running a small business you can get close to your employees, which can make it difficult to challenge things you aren’t happy about and make difficult decisions. We also want to change the stereotype of HR people; we aren’t all power hungry, grim reaper types only showing up to meetings when someone is going to be ‘sacked’. HR professionals can be warm, creative and compassionate, whilst still supporting business owners with tough decisions.
