As a networking group, Canterbury BoB (Business over Breakfast) wanted to promote ourselves to the business community. The group has a friendly, relaxed approach to building long-term business contacts and developing ongoing work for its members. We are a diverse group in age, business type and size, but we have created something special together.
In this video, Laurie & Lesley at Smugshot have captured the feel of the group meetings and highlighted individuals in the group on what they have gained being a member.
The Smugshot process shows the expertise and knowledge of video presentations. We discussed what we wanted to achieve from the video, and Laurie created a working brief.
Two areas stood out for us and showed the level of professionalism of Smugshot.
1. The filming took place over two sessions, but it was never intrusive.
2. The end product has been brilliantly edited to the right length to maintain interest and provide a call to action.

A while ago we had a bad problem at home with rats. Carl visited to assess the situation. Through his in-depth experience, he identified where the rodents were entering the property and put procedures in place to resolve the immediate problem and prevent it in the future.

We have used CS Heating & Plumbing for several years to service and maintain our home heating system and plumbing. Last year, they installed a new efficient boiler and thermostat and upgraded some radiators. It has made a big difference.

We have just used Tom from TJL Kitchens to complete our kitchen makeover. Tom advised us on new worktops, splashbacks and a sink and recommended we use his local branch of Howdens to supply the products.
The products were good quality, and Tom fitted them with the expertise and care of a true craftsman, and he liaised with the electrician and plumber to ensure that they completed their works in line with his.
Overall, we are delighted with the quality of the work and Tom’s approach and would highly recommend him.

Sean exemplifies the spirit of how modern businesses should work – through collaboration. Like many businesses, Sean received an unsolicited CV from somebody looking for a job. This young guy had some accountancy experience but did not fit what Sean needed at the time. He could have ignored the email, he could have said “Thanks, but no thanks”, but he wanted to help.

So, he recommended that this enthusiastic young guy contact me. I could tell immediately that this candidate had potential and contacted some local Accountancy firms that I know. Two of the firms asked to interview the candidate; both offered him a job. He knew which job opportunity was best for him and started work last Tuesday. He is no longer unemployed and has a great career ahead of him.

I need to recommend CS Heating & Plumbing's monthly plan to everybody in the BoB Group. First, it gives you peace of mind that if you have a breakdown or fault then it will be sorted out. Secondly, it ensures that your heating system is inspected by qualified staff on a regular basis. This means that it remains safe and efficient.
On top of that, it also covers repairs to the heating system. Last week, we noticed a pipe joint was leaking. I contacted the office, an Engineer came the next day and fitted new pipework to resolve the leak.
