I can help with the day-to-day basics of HR (contracts and policies) but the bulk of my expertise - and where I can add the most value - is helping businesses to resolve complex employee relations challenges such as redundancies, under-performance, absences, disciplinary cases, workplace disputes and grievances (for which I offer a mediation service), health-related issues and more. These are the issues that can take time and sap energy, and could potentially be risky and costly if not handled in the best way - so I help reduce the time, stress and risk involved in managing difficult situations.
I also design and deliver training workshops for line managers to enable them to lead those employee situations more confidently.
For my education sector clients, I am an accredited Safer Recruitment trainer, offering full-day face-to-face workshops to ensure that recruiters in schools/academies are aware of how to use their recruitment process to deter and prevent unsuitable candidates from being appointed to work with children.
